The popularity of the Android OS is so incredible that almost every form of publication has migrated their news and services to an application available in the market, and now the BBC just joined the list. BBC originally released their Android application a few months ago in the UK, but apparently left out the rest of the world from their offering. After a few months of eagerly waiting, the application just became live in the Android Market for the whole world to get their hands on.
BBC is well-known for offering great international and UK news, making the app quite the release for loyal watchers. Their stories touch on everything people are interested in and they usually have some great breaking news that sometimes even makes it on our front page. They’ve had many interesting interviews that have given us a better understanding of the mobile industry, and where it’s heading. Having all that content (next to reading our blog on a daily basis, of course) is just about the best way to stay up to date on everything happening in the mobile world.
